Freeman Companies developed a concept for redeveloping the 11.8-acre Park + Main site in downtown Hartford into a mixed-use community, enhancing the urban fabric at a key city junction. The plan aimed to re-energize the area with retail and commercial spaces, better connecting it to Downtown and surrounding neighborhoods.

The vision included a walkable, pedestrian-friendly environment with 22,300 square feet of ground-floor commercial space, 108 upper-floor apartments, and off-street parking. Designed to foster connectivity and vibrancy, the project emphasized placemaking and evolved through collaboration with the City and community stakeholders.
