Hartford, Connecticut

2014-2016

Client: City of Hartford Department of Development Services & DoNo Hartford, LLC

Project Cost: $350 Million

Dunkin’ Donuts Park serves as the centerpiece of Hartford’s $350 million Downtown North (DoNo) revitalization initiative, designed to reconnect the North End with downtown through a mix of residential, retail, and entertainment uses. The 6,000-seat stadium, which opened in April 2017, anchors a broader redevelopment plan that includes 823 housing units, townhomes, a supermarket, fitness center, brewpub, and structured parking.

Freeman played a key role by providing site development, civil engineering, roadway design, utility investigations, and land surveying services. The team’s scope included demolition planning, drainage and utility design, intersection improvements, erosion control measures, LEED support, and floodplain analysis, with additional development phases still underway.
