Senior Structural Bridge Engineer:

Qualifications:

  • Candidate shall have 10 years of broad experience in the rating, inspection, evaluation and design of highway bridges.
  • Candidate shall have excellent client service record and communications skills and be able to provide references upon request.
  • Candidate shall have a proven ability to think critically and provide support to multiple project teams simultaneously.
  • Candidate shall be able to assist with business development/marketing for our Structural Engineering Department and the rest of our team.
  • Candidate shall be very familiar with State and Federal bridge design requirements, have excellent communication and project management skills, experience as a Project Engineer/Project Manager and experience in Construction Contract Administration.
  • Proficiency in the use of Bridge Design software and CTDOT policies and procedures is required.
  • Ideal candidate would have the ability to Manage our Structural Engineering Department

Responsibilities:

  • Independently handle a wide variety of structural bridge engineering assignments
  • Assure technical quality and manage schedule and budget for assigned projects
  • Assist in supervision and development of junior staff
  • Work with other department managers to build and maintain departmental staff, library and resources
  • Work with project managers to ensure effective and timely delivery of structural bridge design
  • Collaborate with principals, project managers, and clients to prepare and participate in project proposals and interviews as requested

Qualifications:

  • Registered Professional Engineer
  • BS Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master's Degree preferred)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with progressive responsibility (10+ years preferred)
  • Design experience with a variety of materials, including steel, concrete, masonry and wood
  • Excellent client service record and communications skills
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
  • Familiarity with Revit Structural and/or AutoCAD
  • Proven ability to think critically and provide support to multiple project teams simultaneously
  • Business development/marketing experience is preferred

Project Engineer:
